Madeleine van der Werve | Lecturer and Managing Director
The Dutch designer, winner of an European Design Prize, is the heart of lingerie academy. With an exam on the oldest and most famous Royal Academy of art in The Hague, Madeleine worked as Designer of furniture and as interior architect. Then she discovered the tailoring and sewing lingerie for herself. She completed a multi-level and especially on sewing lingerie and swimwear oriented education and thus reached a very high degree of specialization. Related to the German principles of education her specific knowledge is related to the highest degree is sewing. Madeleine is not alone specialist in sewing technique and designs of lingerie further more she developed an own patter constructing system, in special for wired bra construction. Madeleine has worked in several project for the lingerie industry and has proven here knowhow.
The Lingerie Academy was founded in 2003 and is the only one in the German speaking part of Europe.

Thomas Grün | Managing Director
He studied industrial engineering and has worked as a management consultant for many years. He also assisted and advised Madeleine van der Werve in founding the Lingerie Academy. Today he is responsible as a commercial director to the business interests of the company.
